The Kuzma 4Point 14" 4Point Tonearm is a cutting-edge tonearm designed for audiophiles seeking the highest precision and performance. Featuring a unique 4-point bearing system, this tonearm ensures minimal friction and zero play in all directions, providing smooth, accurate tracking across the record. Despite its longer 14-inch effective length (353mm), it fits the standard mounting distance of 291mm, making it compatible with turntables that typically support 12-inch arms, allowing for an expanded range of movement and improved sound quality.
The heart of the 4Point 14 is its innovative 4-point bearing design, where two points allow vertical movement and two points control horizontal movement. This advanced setup minimizes friction and vibration, ensuring the cartridge and its platform move with precision and minimal interference. The tonearm is mounted on a rigid VTA tower, which enables precise VTA adjustments during playback with up to 0.01mm of precision, maintaining rigidity without any loss of performance.
Built from solid aluminum, the 4Point 14 features adjustable counterweights for balancing the tonearm, as well as a secondary counterweight for fine tracking force adjustments. The azimuth can be adjusted in small, repeatable increments with zero play, offering precise alignment. A detachable headshell, fixed with a hexagonal locking system, adds convenience and ensures rigidity equivalent to a fixed headshell.
