The Stogi S 12 VTA, 12” tonearm  is a Stogi S 12 with a precision-adjustable VTA tower. The Stogi S 12 VTA tonearm combines the main features of the Stogi S, the Stogi S 12, and the 4Point  tonearms: a uni-pivot bearing, rigid headshell, and a unique VTA (Vertical Tracking Angle) tower.

The Stogi S 12 VTA has a uni-pivot bearing design with a unique, rigid, square headshell made from a solid aluminum block and a base of solid brass which control vibration and aids the stability of the tonearm as a whole. All parts of the arm are machined from blocks of solid metal in order to provide damping and minimize resonance.

The polished pivot point is positioned in an oil well, which provides extremely low friction and bearing vibration. The bearing height is at record level for optimal tracking. The silicone damping controls the resonance of the cartridge and also stabilizes azimuth.

Two counterweights allow easy adjustments of tracking force and azimuth. Fine azimuth adjustment is achieved by the rotation of a horizontal screw in the main counterweight, making fine azimuth adjustment very simple.

The tonearm is mounted on a rigid VTA tower which allows VTA adjustment while playing, without any loss of rigidity, yet with up to 0.01mm of precision with zero play and repeatability. The tonearm fits standard size turntables, so there is no need to replace the turntable to experience the advantages of a longer tonearms and fine VTA adjustments.

Internal connection wires are continuous from cartridge pins to output connectors. High quality wires are incorporated into our own cables. Output connections are available in: 5-Pin DIN, RCA, or XLR (Balanced).
