The SC-IW is the Velodyne of in-wall subs! The SC-IW is the first in-wall to fit flush in a 2x4 studded wall and deliver reference quality performance. The patent-pending SC-IW driver fires vertically for maximum throw to reproduce the most demanding home theater and music with authority, accuracy, and low distortion. The SC-IWDVR’s unique, T-shaped design allows flush mounting in line with studding to minimize wall vibration. The long throw driver (1-inch peak travel) delivers the performance of a high quality in-room 10” subwoofer.

The SC-IW features a unique two-box system. In new construction, the enclosure (SC-IWBB) is mounted at the rough-in stage; the driver (SC-IWDVR) at the trim-out stage. The driver and enclosure screw onto a standard 2x4 stud with no other preparation needed, and are connected via silicon rubber conduits. Both pieces use a unique cabinet construction, only 4mm thick - a strong, well-damped, space-saving design.
