The Unison Research S6 Black Edition elevates the classic S6 integrated tube amplifier with thoughtful technical and aesthetic enhancements that satisfy discerning audiophiles. Built around a pure Class-A ultralinear topology, it utilizes premium Gold Lion valve two ECC83 signal tubes and three KT77 power tubes per channel wired in parallel to deliver rich, expressive sound with 40 watts per channel into 6 Ω.
The amplifier’s signal path and power management have been revised to reduce noise and improve control, while Return GND grounding technology and microrelays with gold-plated silver contacts ensure stable, interference-resistant source selection. Connectivity includes four analog RCA inputs plus USB, coaxial SPDIF, and optical Toslink digital inputs for high-resolution sources, complemented by an unfiltered subwoofer output that maintains tonal integrity.
