The Triangle Solstice 8 is a 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker designed to combine authoritative bass, natural tonal balance, and an expansive stereo soundstage. Engineered for medium-to-large listening rooms, it delivers the scale and energy required for orchestral music, rock, electronic recordings, and movie soundtracks while preserving subtle instrumental textures and vocal detail. Its 91dB sensitivity and 8-Ohm nominal impedance allow the speaker to perform effectively with a broad selection of integrated amplifiers, stereo receivers, and separate power amplifiers.

High frequencies are reproduced by Triangle’s TZ2540MG tweeter, which combines a 25mm magnesium-alloy dome with a newly developed phase plug and barrel-shaped horn. The revised design promotes controlled dispersion and a wide listening area, while the 6.5-inch natural-cellulose midrange driver provides realistic timbre and articulate vocal reproduction. Two 6.5-inch concave paper woofers extend response to 38Hz, providing a strong low-frequency foundation without sacrificing speed or definition.

The cabinet and base have also been engineered to manage resonance and airflow. A concealed laminar bass-reflex port reduces turbulence, while a cast-iron honeycomb base covered with silicone helps absorb vibration and mechanically decouple the enclosure from the floor. The base tilts the speaker backward by two degrees to optimize directionality and broaden the listening field, and adjustable spikes provide stable placement on different surfaces. Dual binding posts support single wiring, bi-wiring, and bi-amplification for flexible integration into high-fidelity or home theater systems.
