The Triangle Borea BR05 combines vintage-inspired proportions with a substantial 8.3" midwoofer for music with weight, texture, and scale. Its two-way design pairs a natural cellulose pulp cone with Triangle’s 1" EFS silk dome tweeter. This combination brings bass authority and vocal clarity to a bookshelf speaker suited to dedicated stereo listening.
The reinforced MDF enclosure uses Triangle’s Driver Vibration Absorption System to limit unwanted mechanical vibration. Internal bracing supports cabinet rigidity, while two front-facing bass-reflex ports manage airflow. The EFS tweeter incorporates a phase plug to help distribute high frequencies throughout the listening area.
Included bases tilt each speaker upward by 10°, offering a distinctive alternative to conventional stand placement. Dual binding posts support bi-wiring or bi-amplification, and optional Triangle S03 stands provide another installation choice. Magnetic fabric grilles complete the design, giving listeners the option of a covered or exposed driver presentation.
