The Transformative Engineering HDU-1 enables the connection of HDMI or VGA sources, synchronous USB devices, bi-directional IR, and auxiliary audio feeds over a single Category cable. This integration simplifies installations by reducing the need for multiple cables and devices, streamlining setup and operation.
Utilizing HDBase-T technology, the HDU-1 supports uncompressed video resolutions up to 1080p and computer resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. The VGA input is converted to HDMI with computer-selected resolution. The system features automatic input selection, prioritizing HDMI unless manual selection is activated. The transmitter unit fits in a double-gang electrical box and is fully enclosed in a shielded metal case for safety and code adherence. The compact receiver module fits behind your monitor or on top of your projector, providing signal, control, and USB over a single Category wire up to a distance of up to 30 meters (98.4 feet).
