TDG - Factor 800 - Flangeless 8" In-Ceiling Speaker (Single)
The TDG Audio FACTOR 800 is a flangeless 8" in-ceiling speaker designed for clean architectural installation and strong full-range performance. Its modern no-edge design allows the speaker to blend neatly into finished ceilings, making it a practical choice for distributed audio, media rooms, and discreet home theater layouts.
The FACTOR 800 uses an 8" polypropylene woofer and a 0.5" PEI tweeter in a 2-way configuration, with a rated frequency response of 41Hz-20kHz and 87dB SPL sensitivity. TDG Audio’s specially engineered baffle includes a concave dimple pattern intended to improve high-frequency accuracy, helping music, dialogue, and ambient effects sound clearer from an overhead location.
Installation-friendly details include a dual-coated magnetic grill, removable scrim cloth, large push terminals, and extra-wide threaded screws for quick dogleg fastening. With an 82mm mounting depth, 248mm cutout, and PCBC-8 pre-construction bracket compatibility, the FACTOR 800 is built for professional in-ceiling installations where clean appearance, reliable mounting, and refined sound all matter.
