SurgeX - SX-DSP-169 - Defender IP Connected Surge Suppressor
Purpose-built for high-stakes AV and IT environments requiring precision protection and intelligent monitoring, the SurgeX SX-DSP-169 Defender IP Connected Surge Suppressor is a robust solution for safeguarding critical electronics in 208V/20A systems. Perfect for enterprise AV, broadcast racks, digital signage networks, and security installations, this unit not only shields connected equipment from damaging surges and electrical anomalies but also provides real-time insight into power quality and system health through IP connectivity.
The SX-DSP-169 employs SurgeX’s Advanced Series Mode® technology to eliminate surge energy at the branch level without relying on sacrificial components or introducing ground noise. It features EMI/RFI filtration to clean up noisy power lines and Impedance Tolerant technology to stabilize under- and over-voltage events. Designed for 208V applications, the unit supports larger systems and high-current loads often found in commercial-grade installations. Its built-in IP interface enables remote access for diagnostics, event logging, and power quality reporting—giving technicians the tools to identify and resolve problems before system failures occur.
For AV integrators and IT managers seeking advanced, 208V-compatible protection with remote diagnostics and logging, the SX-DSP-169 delivers silent surge elimination, superior filtration, and the intelligence needed to maintain peak system uptime.
