The Silent Angel Munich MU 0TB is an audiophile-grade network streamer built for high-performance digital playback, system flexibility, and clean analog output. Designed as the next-generation step beyond Silent Angel’s Munich M1 platform, the MU combines streaming, DAC functionality, local storage expansion, and external clock support in a refined aluminum chassis.
The MU includes an integrated ESS SABRE DAC with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog outputs, allowing direct connection to an amplifier, preamplifier, or powered speakers. Digital output options include AES/EBU, I2S, coaxial, and USB Audio, with USB Audio supporting PCM up to 768kHz and DSD256. The 0TB version includes an internal M.2 NVMe SSD slot for user-added storage up to 4TB, while USB storage ports and network playback support provide more ways to access local music libraries.
Silent Angel designed the Munich MU with a double-layer aluminum chassis, EMI isolation, precision clocking, and a 25MHz external clock input for upgraded digital timing.
