RBH - R1212-S 12" 2400W Reference 1212-S Subwoofer
The RBH Reference 1212-S fits two 12" aluminum-cone woofers into a sealed cabinet just 23" high. One woofer fires forward and the other fires downward, a layout RBH designed to give low bass a tactile quality. It’s suited to stereo systems where the weight of a bass line matters as much as the impact of a movie soundtrack.
The 1212-S is designed to work with an external amplifier, and RBH lists its P-1602DSP and DA-2602DSP as matching options. With a DA Series subwoofer amplifier, RBH rates bass extension to 20 Hz at ±3 dB. The amplifier’s adjustable crossover and phase controls help blend the subwoofer with the main speakers so the transition sounds natural at the listening position.
The high-density fiberboard cabinet comes with a removable magnetic fabric grille. Its 15.75" width gives it a relatively narrow footprint for a dual 12" design, which can help when planning placement beside a front speaker or equipment cabinet. Satin black and satin white finishes let you coordinate with the rest of the system.
