The Onkyo TX-RZ50 9.2-Channel THX Certified AV Receiver is built for serious home theater systems that need immersive surround sound, strong amplification, and modern video support. It delivers 120W per channel and includes 11.2-channel processing with pre-outs for 7.2.4 speaker layouts, giving users room to build a more expansive Dolby Atmos or DTS:X system.
Dirac Live Room Correction helps calibrate speaker performance across the full frequency range, while Klipsch Optimize Mode makes it easier to match compatible Klipsch Reference and Reference Premiere speakers with the correct crossover settings. The TX-RZ50 also supports THX listening modes, IMAX Enhanced playback, AccuReflex for Atmos-enabled speakers, and bi-directional Bluetooth for both receiving and transmitting audio.
For modern video and streaming systems, the TX-RZ50 includes HDMI 2.1 with 8K/60, 4K/120, eARC, VRR, ALLM, QFT, QMS, and Dynamic HDR support. Built-in streaming includes Spotify, Amazon Music HD, Pandora, TIDAL, Deezer, and TuneIn, along with Works with Sonos, Chromecast built-in, AirPlay 2, and DTS Play-Fi, making it a flexible hub for movies, gaming, music, and multi-room entertainment.
