The NuPrime SW-9X is a high-end 8-port gigabit Ethernet network switch designed to support stable music data transmission in performance-focused streaming systems. By combining eight gold-plated Ethernet ports with a low-noise internal power supply, AC filtering, and ground shielding, the SW-9X helps create a cleaner network path for connected audio components.
A customized 25MHz TCXO clock provides improved frequency stability compared to standard network switch clock designs. The SW-9X also includes an external 25MHz BNC word-clock input and an internal/external clock selector switch, giving advanced systems an additional path for timing optimization.
NuPrime’s common-mode active noise cancellation and multi-stage power filtering help suppress EMI and RFI that can travel through power and network connections. Independent 12V, 3.3V, and 1.1V internal power rails support the clock and switching circuits, while the aluminum chassis and LED control switch make the SW-9X a refined network upgrade for serious digital audio systems.
