Nuprime - H16-AIP - Immersive AV Processor & AoIP Decoder
The Nuprime H16-AIP stands at the forefront of hybrid AV and networked audio, designed to merge cinematic immersion with broadcast-grade control. Engineered for precision and flexibility, it brings the latest Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoding into a fully digital AoIP framework that eliminates conventional analog routing while maintaining impeccable synchronization and clarity. Its minimalist design conceals a wealth of innovation that caters to both audiophiles and professional integrators.
At its core, the H16-AIP features AES67/Dante streaming with sub-millisecond latency, enabling seamless distribution of multichannel audio over standard Ethernet. Its HDMI platform supports eARC, full 4K HDR pass-through, and advanced room calibration for accurate playback in any environment. Dual RJ45 ports simplify integration into existing networks, while the internal DSP ensures low-noise processing, high-resolution sound, and effortless source management across home cinema, studio, and live setups.
The result is a processor built to unify video brilliance and high-definition audio into one intelligent networked platform. For listeners seeking uncompromised fidelity and installers demanding scalable connectivity, the H16-AIP represents a complete solution for next-generation immersive performance.
*Firmware Version V2.05.0877 Notes (as of May 13, 2026)
- This update resolves previously reported software issues and provides the most current operating version for supported units:
- Two-channel audio may be routed as 2.1-channel output. The H16 is designed primarily for multichannel home theater use rather than dedicated stereo music playback. When using two-channel music sources, users may leave the subwoofer output disconnected or unused.
- When the speaker layout is set to a configuration other than 5.1 channels, 5.1 audio tracks may be upmixed to 7.1-channel output. Users who prefer standard 5.1 playback should set the speaker layout to 5.1 channels.
- When switching Apple Music playback from Dolby Atmos to PCM, a brief popping sound may occur during the first two seconds of playback. This is caused by the decoding format change and may briefly create an audible transient. This behavior is uncommon and does not damage connected speakers.
- In PURE mode, speaker output levels may not be evenly balanced. The subwoofer channel output is currently higher than the other channels, while the remaining channels are consistent with each other but lower in level. This item is expected to be addressed in a future firmware release.
