The NuPrime ARC Mini is a compact HDMI ARC audio converter designed to connect a modern television or media player to a high-performance digital audio system. Rather than simply extracting the ARC signal and passing it directly to an output, the ARC Mini internally converts HDMI ARC to I²S and uses a master clock to improve timing accuracy and reduce jitter. This architecture is intended to provide a cleaner, more stable digital signal for an external DAC, integrated amplifier, or other compatible component.
A single HDMI ARC input accepts stereo PCM audio from a compatible television or source device, while three digital output options provide flexible system integration. Users can connect through conventional coaxial S/PDIF, optical Toslink, or NuPrime’s Digital Port when pairing the ARC Mini with compatible NuPrime equipment. Stereo PCM playback is supported at resolutions up to 24-bit/192kHz, making the ARC Mini suitable for high-resolution two-channel audio systems.
Measuring only 3.43 inches wide and weighing approximately 0.18 pounds, the ARC Mini can be positioned discreetly behind a television, beside a DAC, or within a crowded equipment rack. Power is supplied by a 5V USB-C connection, minimizing the need for a large external power supply.
