Nitty Gritty - Model 2.5 - Automatic Vacuum Record Cleaning Machine
The Nitty Gritty Model 2.5 adds automatic record rotation to the company's vacuum record cleaning system, making the cleaning process faster. Cleaning fluid is still applied manually, but Nitty Gritty's Capstan Record Drive automatically rotates the record during both the scrubbing and vacuum stages.
As the record rotates, fibers on the vacuum strip work against the playing surface to help clean the grooves while the vacuum system removes dirty fluid and loosened contaminants. Because the machine handles record rotation automatically, the user does not need to rotate the record by hand during the cleaning and extraction process. A slide-out waste tray provides convenient disposal of collected fluid after cleaning.
Finished in a Solid Oak woodgrain cabinet, the Model 2.5 maintains the compact form factor of Nitty Gritty's record cleaning systems while adding a useful level of automation for larger vinyl collections. The package includes a velvet record cleaning brush, a 4 oz. bottle of PURE 2 cleaning fluid and a small cleaning whisk, giving users the essential accessories needed to begin maintaining their records.
