The Nitty Gritty Model 1.0 brings vacuum-assisted record cleaning to vinyl enthusiasts who prefer a straightforward, hands-on approach. As Nitty Gritty's entry-level vacuum record cleaning machine, the operator applies cleaning fluid, brushes the record and rotates it during the vacuum cycle. This simple design keeps operation direct while providing the benefits of wet cleaning and vacuum extraction.
At the heart of the Model 1.0 is the same vacuum motor used in Nitty Gritty's higher-end Mini Pro 2. After cleaning fluid has loosened contaminants within the grooves, the vacuum system removes the used solution along with suspended dirt and debris from the record surface. Nitty Gritty's cleaning process is designed around washing, scrubbing and vacuum removal to help maintain clean record grooves.
Finished in a compact black vinyl woodgrain cabinet, the Model 1.0 includes the basic accessories needed to begin cleaning a record collection. Its fully manual operation makes it particularly well suited to listeners who want Nitty Gritty's vacuum-cleaning system without the automatic rotation and fluid-delivery features of the company's more advanced models.
