The Michell Cusis S builds on the acclaimed Cusis E by offering enhanced refinement, wider frequency response, and greater detail retrieval. Designed as part of Michell’s reference-class moving coil range, it delivers superior musicality while preserving absolute neutrality. Its Shibata stylus and boron cantilever ensure exceptional groove tracing and accuracy, unlocking micro-details across the spectrum with natural balance and control.
Like all Cusis models, the Cusis S employs a samarium-cobalt magnet paired with pure iron to generate a stable magnetic field, with 30μ pure copper coils precisely wound onto an ultra-lightweight armature. A custom damper supports the stylus assembly for exact groove tracking, while the large aluminium chassis absorbs unwanted vibration. Housed in a high-density Acetyl body designed to suppress resonance, the Cusis S provides an effortless, highly revealing performance for discerning vinyl enthusiasts.
