At its core, the Cusis E employs a samarium-cobalt magnet paired with pure iron to create a stable magnetic field, while 30μ pure copper wire is used to wind the ultra-lightweight coils with precision. The lightweight armature and custom damper give the stylus perfect support for tracking, and the large aluminium chassis with high-density Acetyl body work together to suppress vibration and resonance. The result is a cartridge that delivers engaging, distortion-free playback with natural tonality and detail well beyond expectations at this level.
