The Magnetar ULTIMA Universal Media Transport brings your movie and music collections together in a dedicated digital source for high-performance audio and home theater systems. The ULTIMA supports UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, CD, SACD, and DVD-Audio, along with USB and network media playback. ULTIMA accommodates both physical discs and file-based media. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support extend its versatility for compatible displays and home theater systems.

At the heart of ULTIMA is a battery-assisted DC power architecture incorporating dedicated BYD lithium-based power stages. Designed to reduce electrical noise affecting critical processing and signal pathways, this system works alongside precision clocking, optimized grounding, and isolated circuitry. A unified 10 MHz master reference synchronizes system clocks, while the crystal oscillator module provides 0.01–0.05 ppm stability and phase noise below -150 dB to support accurate digital signal timing.

Built for connection to external DACs and AV processors, ULTIMA provides separate main and audio-only HDMI outputs, plus coaxial and AES digital audio outputs with DoP support via AES. Its reinforced chassis helps minimize vibration and resonance, while isolated internal compartments help protect sensitive circuits from interference.
