The JVC DLA-RS4200 is a premium native 4K D-ILA laser projector designed to deliver reference-level image quality for high-end home theater systems. Featuring JVC’s 3rd-generation 0.69-inch native 4K D-ILA devices, Gen2 8K/e-shiftX processing, and a 3,300-lumen BLU-Escent laser light source, the RS4200 combines exceptional resolution, brightness, and black-level performance for an immersive cinematic presentation. Its 150,000:1 native contrast ratio further enhances depth and dimensionality in both bright and dark scenes.
Gen2 8K/e-shiftX uses JVC’s latest 8K scaling engine to produce detailed images up to 8192 x 4320 resolution, while full-bandwidth 48Gbps HDMI support accommodates 8K60p and 4K120p signals. HDR performance is enhanced by Gen2 Frame Adapt HDR, which analyzes HDR10 content scene by scene or frame by frame for real-time tone mapping, along with the newer Frame Adapt HDR Vivid mode for increased brightness, contrast, and color expression. The projector also supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG formats, as well as Auto Low Latency Mode for responsive large-screen gaming.
The DLA-RS4200 uses an 18-element, 16-group all-glass lens system with five ED lens elements to minimize chromatic aberration and maintain sharp image reproduction across the screen. Its BLU-Escent laser light source provides up to 20,000 hours of rated life and offers 101-step luminance adjustment for precise setup. Combined with flexible lens adjustment, advanced image processing, 3D capability, and JVC’s latest calibration features, the RS4200 is engineered for demanding home cinema installations where image fidelity and installation flexibility are priorities.
