Future Automation - DCL-R - Motorized Dome Camera Lift
Future Automation designed the DCL-R to discreetly conceal a dome CCTV camera above the ceiling. When activated, the motorized mechanism lowers the camera through the ceiling so it can operate with an unobstructed field of view. Once the camera is raised, the cover panel fills the opening to create a clean, flush appearance with the surrounding ceiling.
The DCL-R uses a plaster-in edge that allows the mechanism to integrate neatly into residential and commercial interiors with minimal effect on the finished ceiling. A twist-in access panel allows the camera to be reached without tools, making installation, adjustment, and maintenance easier without compromising the concealed appearance of the system.
Multiple DCL-R sizes and height configurations are available to accommodate different dome camera dimensions. RS232, contact closure, and IR control support make the mechanism easy to integrate into a wider automation or security system, while the external control box keeps control hardware accessible for installation and servicing. A separate DCL-M version is available for marine applications.
