The Eversolo DMP-A8 is a high-performance network music streamer designed to bring digital playback, conversion, source control, and preamplifier functions together in one refined component. Its responsive 6-inch LCD touchscreen provides direct access to music libraries, streaming services, inputs, outputs, playback controls, and system settings. The DMP-A8 can play high-resolution files from internal storage, USB devices, network shares, and online services while also operating as a dedicated digital transport for an external DAC.
An AKM AK4191EQ digital audio processor and flagship AK4499EX DAC form the foundation of the conversion stage, while an XMOS XU316 processor supports native DSD512 and PCM files through 32-bit/768kHz. The fully balanced analog preamplifier includes XLR and RCA inputs, up to +10dB of analog gain, and a precision R-2R resistor-ladder volume-control network. Separate low-noise power supplies for the digital and analog circuitry help preserve dynamics, channel separation, and musical detail.
The DMP-A8 offers extensive connectivity for integration with power amplifiers, active speakers, external DACs, televisions, computers, mobile devices, and network storage. Balanced XLR and RCA outputs are complemented by USB, IIS, coaxial, optical, HDMI ARC, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity. Support for major streaming services, network protocols, external USB CD playback and ripping, app control, remote operation, and an internal M.2 SSD slot makes the DMP-A8 a flexible control center for a modern two-channel audio system.
