The Eversolo DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 is a high-performance network music streamer, DAC, CD player, digital transport, and analog preamplifier designed as a complete control center for a reference two-channel audio system. Its 8.6-inch LCD touchscreen provides direct access to music libraries, streaming services, source selection, playback controls, room correction, and system settings. In addition to high-resolution streaming and local playback, the Master Edition adds an integrated top-loading CD mechanism engineered for quieter operation, improved reading stability, intelligent error correction, and accurate CD playback and ripping.
An AKM AK4191EQ digital audio processor and flagship AK4499EXEQ DAC form the foundation of the conversion stage, supporting native DSD512 and PCM audio through 32-bit/768kHz. The Master Edition enhances digital timing with an ultra-low-phase-noise OCXO crystal oscillator, PLL synchronization, and a femtosecond-level system clock, while also supporting a 10MHz external master-clock input for advanced system integration. Its fully balanced analog preamplifier incorporates XLR and RCA connectivity, an R-2R resistor-ladder volume-control network, and enhanced electrical isolation designed to reduce interference and preserve clarity, dynamics, and spatial precision.
Comprehensive connectivity allows the DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 to integrate with power amplifiers, active speakers, external DACs, subwoofers, televisions, computers, mobile devices, and network storage. Balanced XLR and RCA outputs are complemented by a dedicated subwoofer output, USB, IIS, coaxial, optical, AES/EBU, HDMI ARC/eARC, Bluetooth 5.4, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, optional SFP fiber networking, and M.2 NVMe storage expansion up to 8TB. Support for Spotify Connect Lossless, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, DLNA, Network Audio Adapter, major streaming services, evotune PRO room correction, 20-band PEQ, and Eversolo Control makes the Master Edition a highly flexible source and control component for demanding modern audio systems.
