Clarus Cable - CAPC - Aqua MK II RCA Phono Audio Cable (Pair)

The Clarus Cable CAPC Aqua MK II RCA Phono Audio Cable is meticulously engineered to connect your turntable and tonearm to a separate phono stage or the phono input of your preamplifier, ensuring a clean and accurate signal pathway. Recognizing the fragility of the low-level output from phono cartridges, this cable employs a combination of a single-ended pair with a 12 AWG silver-plated Pure Continuous Cast Copper (PCCC) ground cable. The Aqua MK II features double shielding to protect the delicate signal, while the dedicated ground wire establishes the same ground potential between the turntable and amplifier, effectively preventing ground loops and the associated 60-cycle hum.

Crafted from the purest copper available, the PCCC conductors are free of impurities, flexible, corrosion-resistant, and possess low electrical resistance, ensuring the purest sound possible. The cable's design includes three distinct conductor types optimized for bass, midrange, and high frequencies, each independently insulated to minimize intra-conductor and inter-conductor interference. A protective layer of aluminum and Mylar® combined with a heavy copper-braided shield wraps the twin-axial design, connected only on the source end to provide a path for induced noise away from the connected component’s input stage, resulting in clear, full-range audio with a dead-quiet background.

Terminated with RCA connectors made from high-purity, high-conductivity tellurium copper and lightweight, springy beryllium copper, the CAPC Aqua MK II ensures solid contact and ultra-low-loss signal transfer. The tellurium copper center pin features a hollow design that reduces eddy currents, enhancing signal transfer speed. For audiophiles seeking to elevate their vinyl playback experience, the Clarus Cable CAPC Aqua MK II RCA Phono Audio Cable offers a meticulously crafted solution that preserves the integrity of the audio signal from turntable to preamp.
