The Beyerdynamic MM 1 Condensor Measurement Microphone is purpose-built for acoustic measurement and system calibration in studios, venues, and research environments. Its omnidirectional, diffuse-field calibrated response is engineered for linearity at 90°, enabling accurate frequency response measurements and reliable comparison across multiple loudspeakers. A slim housing with a protruding capsule minimizes influence on the sound field, reducing pressure build-up at high frequencies for precise readings with spectrum analyzers and measurement software.
Handcrafted in Germany, the MM 1 delivers dependable performance for room tuning, PA alignment, and industrial or R&D tasks. With low tolerance of ±1.5dB from 50Hz to 16,000Hz, individual 0° and 90° calibration data available on request, and robust XLR connectivity, it offers consistency and confidence in critical measurement workflows.
