The Beale Street Audio PESV-8B is an 8″ pendant speaker enclosure designed for open-ceiling and exposed environments where traditional in-ceiling mounting isn’t possible. It allows installers to deploy Beale’s Sonic Vortex in-ceiling speakers and subwoofers as suspended pendants, delivering consistent coverage and high-quality sound in both residential and commercial spaces.
Engineered for flexibility, the PESV-8B supports 8-ohm and 70V speaker and subwoofer configurations, making it suitable for distributed audio systems, hospitality venues, retail spaces, and outdoor entertainment areas. Its durable ABS plastic housing is IP65-rated, offering protection from dust, water, weather, and UV exposure for reliable indoor or outdoor use.
The enclosure ships in a black, paintable finish with a matching magnetic grill, allowing easy color-matching to any décor or branding scheme. Included pendant mounting hardware and multiple mounting options streamline installation and provide secure suspension from a variety of structures. Compatible with most 8″ Beale Street Audio in-ceiling speakers using Sonic Vortex technology, the PESV-8B is a versatile solution for high-performance overhead audio.
