AVM - CS 3.3 - Evolution CD Receiver with Streaming
The AVM Evolution CS 3.3 is a high-performance all-in-one streaming CD receiver designed to bring amplification, physical media, network streaming, and extensive source connectivity together in one refined component. Its integrated power amplifier delivers 2 x 350 watts into 4 Ohms, providing substantial control and dynamic headroom for a wide range of loudspeakers. A Pure CD slot-in drive, HDMI ARC, MM/MC phono input, Bluetooth 5.0, USB storage playback, and analog and digital connections allow the CS 3.3 to serve as the central component of a complete two-channel audio system.
The digital section is built around the ESS9028 PRO Double-Quad DAC, using four DAC channels per audio channel and supporting high-resolution playback up to DSD256 and 32-bit/384kHz PCM. AVM's X-Stream Engine® provides access to AirPlay 2, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect MAX, HighResAudio, Internet Radio, and Roon Ready operation, while AVM RoomConneXion® adds multiroom functionality. Optical and coaxial digital inputs, volume-controlled digital outputs, dual-band Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and the RC X App provide flexible integration and control for both local and network-based music sources.
The CS 3.3 uses an all-transistor signal path and is housed in AVM's screwless aluminum chassis for a clean, understated appearance. Its front panel includes a dimmable graphic display with touchpoint controls and a proximity sensor, while sound control and parametric loudness can be adjusted or bypassed as desired. The CS 3.3 is handcrafted at AVM's facility in Malsch, Germany, and is available in aluminum silver, brushed black, or an optional CELLINI version with a chrome front and polished knobs. Online registration extends the standard warranty to as much as four years.
