AVM’s CS 2.3 is a single-box solution. The styling and build are clean and solid, with standard finishes in silver or black. You’re in charge, whether you use front panel controls or the RC X app for iOS or Android. One elegant unit contains everything you need for a high-quality music system. 

A main focus was put on a completely modernized APP control, the new AVM X-Stream Engine^® can stream all high resolution formats, including DSD (256). This streaming engine is a complete in-house development and is completely software based, thus can be updated online future-proof.

AVM AppAVM’s new X-Stream Engine brings you Spotify Connect, Tidal, Qobuz, and UPnP and Webradio sources. It’ll handle any hi-res format including DSD; as new formats develop, the unit can be updated online, ensuring that obsolescence is obsolete. Coax and optical digital inputs are provided, along with USB stick input and HiFi Bluetooth 4.2; all digital signals are processed by the built-in upsampling ESS Sabre DAC. It’s Roon Ready as well, allowing use of the Roon music management program.

The digital section in the CS was developed in the course of the new development completely new, so now comes here the new D/A converter from the new ESS generation (9038 Q 2 M) to use, sonically also a clear gain, which benefits all digital sources and reproduces all high-resolution formats perfectly and faithfully.

The CS 2.3 includes a slot-loading TEAC Pure CD Drive, not a reworked DVD unit. It’s isolated from vibration and will play your discs flawlessly for decades to come.

The CS 2.3’s amplification features a high-performance preamplifier running in Class A, a proprietary power supply section with AVM capacitors and an ultra linear Class D power amp that efficiently cranks out 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms. The CS 2.3's amplifier will bring out the best from any loudspeakers. Tone and balance controls and a headphone jack allow you to season to taste.
