Advance Paris - A8 Apex - Integrated Amp with Pre-Amplification
Advance Paris A8 Apex Integrated Amplifier brings the performance direction of the Apex range into a compact, music-focused design. Built as a 30th Edition model, it combines a black finish with white VU meters for a clean classic look. Inside, its hybrid architecture uses 2 ECC81/12AT7 tubes in the preamplifier stage, giving the A8 Apex a warm and expressive character while maintaining the control expected from a modern Class A/B amplifier.
With 76W per channel at 8ohms and 110W per channel at 4ohms, the A8 Apex has enough drive for many bookshelf and floorstanding speakers. Its High Bias switch activates double Class A bias, allowing the amplifier to deliver added refinement at higher Class A operating levels. A 240VA toroidal transformer supports stable power delivery, while tone controls for bass, treble, balance, and loudness make it easy to tune the amplifier to the room, speakers, or listener preference.
The A8 Apex is also built for modern source flexibility. It includes 7 RCA line inputs, 1 MM phono input with ground, optical, coaxial, USB audio, HDMI eARC, and an optional A-BTC Bluetooth input. USB audio supports PCM up to 24-bit/192kHz along with DSD64 and DSD128, while HDMI eARC allows simple TV integration with stereo PCM playback. With REC-OUT, PRE-OUT, SUB-OUT, headphone output, trigger output, and a supplied REM-19 remote, the Advance Paris A8 Apex is a practical centerpiece for a compact but serious hi-fi system.
