Kimber Kable - Axios 16 CU - Headphone Cable (Single)

Kimber Kable - Axios 16 CU - Headphone Cable (Single)
The AXIOS‑CU is Kimber Kable’s hand‑made flagship headphone cable, built in Ogden, Utah. It uses a 16‑strand braid of 24‑AWG OFHC (oxygen‑free) copper, each conductor individually insulated with FEP. Thanks to a proprietary braiding process, the cable transitions seamlessly from 16 wires into two 8‑wire leads without any solder joint — preserving signal purity. Terminations are hand-soldered under a nitrogen atmosphere to improve reliability and minimize oxidation. The ends sport beautifully hand-polished hardwood connectors matched to high-end headphones. The braided geometry also helps reject RF interference, while the OFHC copper provides warmth, full-bodied tone, and excellent low-frequency control.
