At the heart of these amazing subs is the 1250W SC-1250 rack-mountable amplifier, with a built-in 7-band automatic room-EQ.

The SC-1250 is a 2-unit high design with included rack-mount ears. The amplifier runs cool and needs minimal ventilation. Conventional speaker wire is used to connect to the SC Series or other subwoofers. Crossover, volume, and mic jack are on the front panel making setup a breeze - typically less than 5 minutes. 

The SC-1250 uses Velodyne’s patented high-reliability Class D Energy Recovery System amplifier. With 3000W dynamic power and 1250W of continuous RMS power, it sports more than enough headroom to reproduce the impact and excitement of the most dramatic special effects and the lowest musical frequencies with detail and definition.

Simply place the included microphone in the preferred listening position and simply push the "EQ" button on the remote control. The internal signal generator plays a series of tones that are read and analyzed by the DSP which auto-adjusts the 7-band equalizer to provide the best bass performance regardless of woofer placement.

If you are buying an SC series subwoofer, you must power it with an SC-1250 amplifier to reap the benefits of the model-specific EQ settings; no other amplifier includes these.
