The new In-Ceiling Acoustic Enclosures embody the epitome of “Made in USA.” OEM Systems developed an efficient CNC technique to prove that they could manufacture their in-ceiling enclosures stateside for a portion of the cost of manufacturing in China… and they succeeded quite nicely.
These beautiful boxes are constructed from 1/2” MDF and provide superb acoustic isolation between rooms and consistent acoustic tuning for all of our speakers and subwoofers. The 16 litre sealed enclosures also helps to increase low-frequency power handling and bass response.
Each enclosure comes pre-installed with shredded denim acoustic damping material and a cord-grip connector that produces an airtight seal and prevents accidental pull out of your speaker wires. They now also provide a Raw version without accessories and Paint.
Typically builders utilize the Raw version without Accessories and paint as they are more cost effective. Each enclosure fits between 2"x10' joists at 12" on-center.
