The S1.8T provides superior bass and extra high power handling with its dual 6.5 inch Kevlar cone woofers with rubber surrounds and cast frames, its 3 inch soft dome mid-range, and its 1.125 inch inverted titanium dome tweeter. Incorporating exclusive patented S4X® crossover and driver-control technology, the S1.8T creates a virtually perfect integration of drivers, ideal for their intended frequencies.
S4X also provides greatly increased control over frequency response, phase, and impedance, resulting in superior performance and imaging. Because of S4X technology, any Induction Dynamics speaker can be used to build a custom home theater system. The S1.8T can be combined with any Induction Dynamics center and surround speakers, be they in-wall, on-wall, or free-standing. Carpet spikes included for added stability.
