The body of the Ikeda 9TT is precision machined from aluminum alloy. This securely fixes the power generation structure and prevents resonance that causes sound muddiness. The cantilever has a double structure of hard aluminum alloy while the stylus tip has a line contact shape that brings out the charm of the music itself as it was originally recorded.

The body is made of a solid aluminum alloy by machining each piece of aluminum precisely, one by one, in order to hold the generator unit securely.

The cantilever is constructed of a double layered duralumin pipe in order to reduce its actual weight and any possible warping affecting the sound in addition to increasing stiffness.

The sound sources picked up by the line contact architecture of the stylus chip are precisely delivered to the magnetic coils.  In addition, thanks to the highly efficient Permalloy core, low impedance coils, strong neodymium magnet, and an ideally shaped magnet yoke, it is possible to reproduce the sound without having any redundant coloring.

In order to pick up the hidden sound elements and a beauty of sound itself engraved on LPs & SPs, Ikeda always takes plenty of time to fabricate each one precisely, then the alignment is adjusted with precision.
