There's no shortage of features in the CS 8.3: the quad DAC processes PCM up to 384kHz/32 bits, as well as DSD 128; the Pure CD drive built exclusively for AVM by TEAC is isolated from outside shock; digital inputs include asynchronous USB and SPDIF in/out, with support provided for external drives and USB sticks. The powerful amplifier provides 250 watts/channel into 8 ohms, 500 watts/channel into 4 ohms.

The CS 8.3 is Roon Ready, and supports Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and most popular streaming services including Qobuz, TIDAL, and UPnP. Webradio is supported, and Bluetooth connectivity and Multiroom and Party Sync modes provide additional versatility. For intimate listening, a Class A headphone amplifier drives the most demanding headphones. Control is made by iOS or Android app.
