The Kiwi is known to be an audiophile since he was a mere little hatchling. His passion for audio consumed him so much he set out to find others who shared his fervor. Walking along the shores of New Zealand with his rocking headphone, he soon found himself adrift in the big ocean of the world only to be washed ashore by a storm, landing him on the East Coast of America. There he stood alone, and worried what was to become of him. He sat upon a sand dune to ponder the great wonders of life and the secret of flight when he saw Sound Approach walking along the water’s edge in search of a mascot.
He quickly found a new home in the vast warehouse that was filled with audio & video equipment. These days you can usually find him wandering among the towering pallets of hardware goodness, or on the phone answering questions from other audiophiles.
Personal likes: Twinkling stars, red wine, silent whispers, holding hands, long walks on the beach, and Kung Fu movies.
Biography: Abbey
Abbey is a West Highland white terrier, commonly known as Westie. She is our official office mascot, just don’t tell the Kiwi. Abbey spends a good portion of her day begging the office staff for cookies, and if that fails she uses her Jedi mind trick to get her way. Hard to say no to a Jedi trained Westie.
Abbey greets all of our daily visitors (vendors, UPS driver, and the mailman) with her usual barking then rolls over expecting belly rubs. Once satisfied, Abbey bounds over to her cookie jar awaiting her much deserved cookie treat. Tough life, we know- but she has us all trained.
To break from her tough routine at the office, she gets frequent walks along the pond (outside of our office) where see loves to chase the geese. The geese are her friends, but the silly birds don’t realize that and choose to fly away as the white furry streak heads towards them.
I wish we could say that Abbey is an Audiophile puppy, but her main interests are mainly sleeping & eating cookies.
Personal likes: Cookies, belly rubs, walking her human friends, being at the center of the universe, and sushi.
